IDHANT DONATIONS 

20th December, 2024

On 20th December 2024, in celebration of a special birthday, Omkar Pratishthan, a Latur-based trust, extended its generosity by donating 100-120 premium imported-quality bed sheets to the students of Dharamveer Sambhaji Maharaj Prarthamik School, Shastri Road.

This thoughtful initiative reflects Omkar Pratishthan’s commitment to community welfare, ensuring comfort and warmth for the children. The trust has continuously worked towards uplifting lives through such meaningful contributions, reinforcing the spirit of kindness and giving.

The donation was not just an act of charity but a heartfelt gesture to mark a special occasion by spreading joy and care. The high-quality bed sheets provided a sense of dignity and comfort, making a real difference in the students’ lives.

A sincere appreciation goes out to Omkar Pratishthan for choosing to celebrate in such a meaningful way. Their dedication to social responsibility continues to inspire and uplift communities.

This Diwali, Idhant Foundation brought light and joy to 70 underprivileged kids at Dharamveer Sambhaji Maharaj Prarthamik School, Shastri Road, through a special Diwali Drive.

Dharamveer Sambhaji Maharaj Prarthamik School is a government school dedicated to providing education and support to underprivileged children. Idhant Foundation conducts weekly drives here, helping young minds learn English, Math, and more, ensuring they have access to resources that can shape a brighter future.

As part of this initiative, Diwali kits were distributed to the children, bringing smiles and festive cheer. Each kit included:

  1. Faral packets – Lovingly prepared by Sangeeta Mavshi, making her Diwali brighter as well.

  2. Diyas – Symbolizing light and hope for a better future.

  3. Fulbajya (firecrackers) – Adding joy and excitement to their celebrations.

  4. ​

This initiative was made possible through the generous donation from Neha Barveand team, who supported the drive and helped bring this vision to life. The donation was facilitated through a direct vendor-to-donor transaction, ensuring transparency and efficiency in providing for the children.

A heartfelt thank you to Neha Barve and all those who contributed to making this Diwali truly special. Your kindness and generosity helped create cherished memories for these young minds, reminding them that they are valued and cared for.

This Republic Day, Idhant decided to donate a good breakfast meal (idli/chutney) for about 300 students, from the donations we have received over the past year, to the Mahatma Gandhi School located near Airport road, Viman Nagar, Pune. 

​

Mahatma Gandhi School, is an NGO which brims with brightness and hope of a better, amazing and an empowered India in the near future by focusing on the youth and the elderly to come out of their comfort zones and contribute their share for upliftment of the underprivileged. 


Here are some of their realistic future goals:

1. Free residential school for the needy widows, divorcee women’s children & prisoners children,
2. Free old age home for needy senior citizens,
3. Free dialysis and coma centre,
4. Free skill development training centre for needy women

A huge thanks Ms. Himani Gwalani, our Activities Manager, for Introducing us to this school and to Mr. Vinayak Deokar, an exceptional hero and a true model in current times. 

25th December, 2020

A 6-day donation drive, where people from all parts of Pune donated their share of clothes, shoes, blankets, bedsheets, etc. We collected and received clothing items from more than 30 families and a whopping 700+ clothing items.

Where have we donated? 

​

1. PMC 17, DSMP Vidyalay, Navi Peth, Pune - Donated clothes to Kids and their parents. 

2. Rostrum India Social Organisation - They will be donating to ashrams, migrants, orphanages inside and across Pune, 

3. Swach Foundation - To all the workers of Swach Foundation, a foundation that works with waste-pickers,

4. Sweaters/blankets for People living on the footpaths/streets

Christmas Donors

PYPA Church Group, IPC Pune, has donated twice in the last two years after an amazing Christmas Event for the kids of DSMP Vidyalaya, Navi Peth,

Idhant Non-profit and PMC 17, Dharamveer Sambhaji Mahaveer Prathmik Vidyalay, Navi Peth, received an enormous donation from the Param Academy, based in the Market yard, Pune.
